What is CoachView?

CoachView is a revolutionary new coaching tool specifically designed for Professional, Personal and Executive Coaches. The CoachView website delivers the program in two steps. The first step is the administration of the CoachView Assessment, a proven professional psychometric assessment that is administered on the Web. The second step of the CoachView program is the scoring and analysis of the completed CoachView Assessment to produce two reports; one for the Coach and one for the Client.

Easy to Use

The CoachView program is simple to use. The Coach manages the entire CoachView program through a web-based interface. The process starts with the Coach registering the Client on the CoachView website. The website then sends an automatic email to the Client inviting him or her to complete the CoachView Assessment. The e-mailed invitation includes a link to the web-based Assessment. Shortly after the Client has completed the assessment, the Coach and Client versions of the CoachView Report are delivered to the coach in PDF format by email. The Coach can choose to either deliver the Client Report in person or send the Client their copy by e-mail.

Coaching Tips

Coaching Tips are included in the Individual Characteristics section of the Coach's version of the CoachView Report. Each of the Individual Characteristics first describes the relevant interests or personality dimension evaluated by the CoachView Assessment and then provides the Coach with additional coaching information that will assist in discussing that characteristic with the Client. This provides the Coach with an opportunity to better understand the Client's unique characteristics and provide relevant feedback to the Client.

Valid and Reliable Instrument

The CoachView Assessment provides Coaches with an accurate, valid and reliable assessment tool that is superior to current assessment products in the marketplace. The CoachView Assessment is comprised of the personality and interest inventories from the valid and reliable ICES Plus Assessment Test, a psychometric test battery developed in the early 1990's by VIEW Assessments Inc. under the direction of Dr. David Bartram, one of the world's leading psychometricians. The ICES Plus Assessment is the cornerstone of a number of established and respected employment and vocational assessments including the Prevue Assessment System, the TotalView Assessment System and the Career Mapper Assessment. Those products have been used to assess more than one million people in North America alone. For further information on the validity of the CoachView Assessment, please see our Technical Manual

The Coach's Report

The Coach will receive a Coach version of the CoachView Report that provides information on a Client's interests and their personality profile in four segments. The Total Person section of the Report provides a general overview of the Client's interests and personality. This is followed by a graphic display of the Client's scores compared to the general population on each of the Interests and personality dimensions measured by the CoachView Assessment. Following that there is an itemized presentation of the Client's assessment on each of the interests and personality dimensions, each of which also includes detailed "Coaching Tips" related to the particular dimension. The final section of the report is the Approach to Work section that provides feedback on nine very important working characteristics.

The Individual Client Report

An Individual Client Report is made available to the client. The Client Report is comprised of similar output to the Coach's Report, but the text is personalized and the report does not include any coaching tips.
