Finding a good provider for your training-provider management software doesn’t happen overnight. You want to know it inside out. And rightly so—ideally, you’ll be working with your new provider for years. We get that, so we’ve already collected the frequently asked questions. About the Software

What exactly is Coachview?
Put simply, Coachview is course administration software, but it’s really a solution for your entire back office. All education logistics processes can be handled or automated in Coachview. That gives you more control and visibility, and reduces manual work and duplicate entry.
Can I switch easily from another system?
Yes, you can—and we’ll help you with it too! Importing your existing training data into Coachview is part of the full implementation process that you go through with us.
What languages is Coachview available in?
Our training software can be set to Dutch, English, German, and French. The Knowledge base is available in Dutch and English.
What devices can I use Coachview on?
Coachview is a SaaS application. That means you always use Coachview through a web browser. Think of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc. So you can use it on any device with a browser. That includes laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs if you want.
Which web browsers does Coachview work in?
All of them. Do you always keep your browser up to date? Then we work on these browsers:

If you or your organization use older browsers, we support Internet Explorer 10+ as best we can. However, this browser has been declared end-of-life by Microsoft, so not all Coachview features will work properly in it.
Which software systems can Coachview integrate with?
We totally get that, alongside Coachview, you also use other tools. That’s why we integrate with most of them. On our integrations page you’ll find an up-to-date overview of all our integrations. Is yours not listed? Then we’re always happy to chat with you about still building it!

About the license

How much does Coachview cost?
One of the most important questions: what does such a handy training administration tool cost? Even with our smart module system, that’s not an easy one to answer. That’s because we don’t know how your process is set up, and you don’t yet know how to use our modules in the best way to cover all your processes. That’s why we recommend you request a demo, then we’ll calculate it based on your unique process—what you do and don’t need.
What is a user?
A user is a staff member at your organization who logs into Coachview. Each staff member has a different role and set of responsibilities. Different modules go with those responsibilities. You decide which user should have which modules. Do teachers need to be able to log into Coachview? We have a special arrangement for that.
How long is the license term?
You pay for our course management software per user, per month. That means you’re free to disable users each month, or cancel entirely if you want to.
What’s included in the license fees, and what isn’t?
You pay the license fees for Coachview’s modules. With your license, you get unlimited access to our helpdesk and Knowledge base. For other things like custom reports, implementation support, and project work, we charge one-off fees. We always calculate these during a demo, so you don’t run into any unpleasant surprises
Is there a cancellation notice period?
Nope. Coachview works on a monthly subscription. You pay in advance for the next month. If you want to stop, just cancel before the next month starts. Reactivating a user is just as easy. Ideal if you want to grow at your own pace.

About privacy and data security

Is my data safe?
Yes. Our servers run in a heavily secured data center. They’re protected with software and hardware firewalls. Only the application server is connected to the internet. In our training administration software, you can only log in with a username and password, and your connection is always secured with an SSL certificate. You can recognize this by the padlock icon in your browser. We’re also certified to ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and NEN 7510. This means our information security is tested every year by an external party.
Who owns my data?
You. It’s legally defined that all information you enter into our training-provider software remains your property. We also explain that clearly in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement.

Can I always access my data?
Yes. Our Training management software has an uptime of 99.7% and you can access it from any device with an internet connection. We do carry out maintenance now and then. This happens twice a month from 6:30–7:30 PM. No worries—often we’re done much faster!
Can I import existing data?
Of course! We’ve got standard imports ready to go. If needed, we can tailor them to your needs – this may sometimes involve extra costs – You can read more about import options in our Knowledge base
Does Coachview make backups of my data?
You don’t need to worry about your data. We make a daily system and database backup of all of Coachview. On top of that, we back up customer actions (transactions) every 15 minutes. This means we can restore a backup at any time that’s no more than 15 minutes old. Restoring a backup applies to all customers and is only done in the event of serious incidents. Unfortunately, restoring backups for individual customers due to administrative errors isn’t possible.
Where does Coachview store my data?
Our server is hosted in a Dutch data center. It meets the necessary security requirements for GDPR and is ISO-certified. Our backups are stored at another location, also in the Netherlands.
What happens to my data if I cancel Coachview?
We prefer to build a great partnership over the years. If you cancel, we’ll delete your data after two months. That means your entire Coachview environment will be removed and can’t be restored.

About our service

How quickly can I start using Coachview?
Within 8–10  weeks you’re often live. In theory, it can be even faster, because the only thing you need is an account. It’s just that you’ll often want more: connect your website, migrate existing data, change your workflows, enable accounting or payment integrations, and so on. The better you think through your process upfront, the faster it usually goes—and the more you’ll ultimately get out of our admin tool. We’ll support you throughout the whole process, by the way. How can I contact the helpdesk?
All roads lead to Rome—and to our helpdesk too. Got a question? Then create a ticket via our Knowledge base or by emailing support@coachview.net. Got a problem that’s really urgent? Then calling 088 44 88 555 is faster. The helpdesk is available every weekday from 8:30 to 17:00.
Does Coachview have an Escrow arrangement?
So you’re all set. If Coachview has to stop for whatever reason, you can still use it for another year. And of course, you know we’re not exactly planning to activate this Escrow agreement for you ; ).
How big is the Coachview organization?
25+ well-trained professionals on the team, plus a few smart interns here and there. We’ve got healthy growth plans, so we expect that number to be ‘old news’ in a year. In short, Coachview’s growing every day, which gives us more capacity to meet our training providers’ needs even better.
